hmm. okay, i guess it's about time i updated this, since my first and only entry was from last november. it is now june. yipes. at this point, i'm sitting in an apartment in oakland, right by jack london square. so if you're in the area, definitely give my cell a ring.
california is nice and cool right now, so sucks to the midwest and its 90degree weather. MwahHahAHahaaaa. everyone should move out west. EVERYONE! join us.
so this summer has been quite eventful. of course there was finals week right after dead week/tech week. PRDCo's show went quite nicely, and it was rockin' cool to have some family support there. greg and my parents went, and they said they liked the show (and i could tell they weren't lying), which was a relief because modern is a lot different from what they last saw me doing 4 years ago for dance team.
my roomie moved out, which is sad because now i have to live with greg. just kidding. that'll actually be fun. but it's always sad to see someone leave when you've gotten along with them so well, and they've become a big part of your life as well as a best friend. jules had to leave last year to go back to munster, and now bex is going home to whiting to get her teaching degree. i will miss the fun times. like sephora online. and not winning that dayam trip to san fran, even though nobody would've enjoyed it more than us. and i'll miss rehearsals and being goofy while being productive. and staring at the frog and eating lots of chocolate. sigh. greg, you better up your girly factor for next year. we're going shopping and we're going to bake. hehe.
after i moved back home from west lafayette, the thaeras went to scandinavia. i got a lot of funny looks when i told people that i was going to scandinavia. it was quite random, but an awesome trip. i'll figure out how to post pictures from it so that i can preserve the memories.
and here i am in oakland, waiting for my internship to start (i'm super psyched about it!) and killing time doing housework and watching movies. it should be a fun and productive summer. a good glimpse of what life will be like a year from now when i finally graduate. |
